Smugglers provide a means for the player to store items, either for later use, or to transfer to another character. Some merchants can be found in hard to reach places and can offer specialty items not found at any other vendor. Merchant wares change periodically, so you never know what they will have to offer. The two things I remember doing wrong when I first started playing was that a) I divided my skill points on too many skills and b) focused mostly on single target rather than AOE.Merchants are NPCs to who offer a wide selection of equipment for sale to the player, and will buy unwanted items. I'd say, don't be afraid to try out all the skills, since you can always respec. And they shouldn't be taken as guides for leveling, rather I use them as general guide lines. Note that the builds from the Build Compendium are 99% end game builds, and most of them don't explain anything so they can be hard to follow.

Presence of Virtue - Offensive Aura with Energy Regen Vire's Might - Movement skill, can be exchanged with Soldier's Blitz Well, while Oathkeeper is my least played class, looking over the skills and the builds here from the site that Splargh posted above, I'd look at the following:Īscension - press for 10 sec damage buff and absorb I did go with Soldier, but unsure what I will use as my secondary class.Īre the expansions worth buying? They're on sale on HumbleBundle and I got a sub to that so the discount is deeper.Īlso any chance there is a mod to improve controller support? My XBO controller seems to be only able to access the menus and move around, can't attack or do anything. But I'm already quite enjoying it, nice that I'm already getting choices when it comes to my drops. Currently I'm going to try and focus on a 2H Melee weapon build since that's my bread and butter for ARPGs. I've barely started it (new character) thus far due to needing to do other IRL stuff presently, but plan to play more tonight. 2012? I actually kickstarted it after having really enjoyed Titan Quest, but never played much of it due to wanting to wait till after Early Access (which at that point I was too distracted by other games). Only briefly playing it for a little bit (I think I only got to level 14). So kind of spinning off from my previous thread about ARPG seasons, I finally decided to give Grim Dawn a real go.
